I have finally been able to steal a few minutes here and there to start shooting, I am sore. Haven't used these muscles in awhile, but having fun! I am finding that in a session the first couple of shots are bad, then the next 10-12 are dead on then it seems fatigue must set in because the groupings become erratic after that, with the longer I shoot the worst it gets. It also blows that my block is pretty much torn up and the 3d deer is almost cut into by now. Soon be time for some new targets!

after being sick the last few months I am starting to shoot again. Have been out stump shooting the last few days and it's a blast. Actually lost a Judo tonight , crap !!, but it's all part of the process of getting in shape again.
Anyone else shooting 3d or stumping in the woods.

I haven't touched my bows in months! Life is just started to settle down a little bit now with the twins, but of course the wife is due again any day now so I don't know how much practice I will be able to do. She is on maternity leave though so maybe later this summer I can get some good practise and get some scouting and hunting done this Fall.

I had every intention of doing LOTS of shooting this spring and summer... Unfortunately, too many 'Honey Do's ' keep cropping up !!  I expect I'll be heading up to the camp over the next few weeks and'll be bringing along the bows...Hopefully the evenings will have some free time. |

My honey has 2 bows and is actually the reason we started shooting bows at all. Unfortunately she wouldn't be able to draw past her belly right now! Soon though....

I tried that! ;D...Didn't work...  She's a seamstress extrodinaire, though...and rather than press my luck, I'll make these little, errrrr, ummmm, 'concessions'.  Ya see...I may not shoot the biggest or the most...but I AM the best dressed hunter in the woods !! ;D |

Try what I did - When a Honey-do list is posted on the fridge or whatever, put one for her beside it and state at the top, my first entry is complete - the next will be done when you complete the top entry on this list. (make is the least likely to get done).
My list disappeared the second day ....

more bag targets tonight. Nice little 8 target Ames target range. Next year will add another 6 targets
hopefully bag a few more bags and then the real thing sat or next week

I am hoping to shoot a few stumps in the next few days that I have off. I work the opening weekend so that sucks but I get a few days off during the week so guess were I will be.

shoot. I just went out for half an hour and shot 12 bags. Just enough to keep the mind sharp )if it's possible LOL) and the muscles from freezing up.
What do you (Noluck) shoot ?
