Sure, sometime after the holidays. You just tell me when and we'll find a place to go. Anyone else? We could make this like a BANS event or something if others are interested. Huntwisely, do you have a date on the Bass River hunt? Looks like I am on Sticks team.

The Bass River Hunt is on the 14th of January HW. Phil told me last night. I was out bunny hunting today. Not as much snow as I though thanks to the rain last night. Lots of tracks, but no rabbits yet. We should all try to get together after the holidays for a hunt. It will have to be a Saturday. Four of us so far..... anyone else??

So the 14, cool well I think we should still get together and have a little BANS bunny buster this winter ourselves. Just a gruop of members and friend out having some fun. Maybe something could be geared up for the end of Jan or early Feb?

heh folks the rabbitt hunt is set for jan 14 06 in bass river . still 20 bucks loys of food and fun , breakfast and supper, only bows, no dogs or broadheads. bring lots of arrows, breakfast starts at 8. see ya there peter

HW and I went out for a walk in the woods today. Took the bows and went in search of those rascally rabbits. I seen one, no shot, and I spooked a deer which ran down into the woods towards HW then doubled back into the hardwoods from where it came. Sure made alot of noise but I didn't get to see it. So to sum it up, two friends in the woods for an afternoon, priceless. Had a great day.

If any of you guys want to go hunting together with other archers, we have a few guys from the Musq. Archers getting together to bunny hunt either this weekend or next in or near Murchyville. Exact location hasn't been confirmed yet. Anyone is more than welcome to come along and join the fun. I'll be talking to the club tonight and finding out details. Last time only four guys showed up so it is not an over crowded group. We could use a few more hunters and membership to our club isn't needed. Let me know if anyone is interested and I'll get you some info on where to meet us at.

I don't think I can get away this weekend coming. Momma has some stuff going on Sat afternoon and my father just had cancer surgery this afternoon. He'll be in ICU for a couple days and I'm staying in the city with my mom for a couple days.
Biggame I got your pm and I'll get back to you on that but the time line is no problem. If things were to go smoothly it would take 3-4 day from start to finish once I got started.

thanks guys for the kind thoughts. Ma was a little stressed but she's coming around. Dad had colon cancer for the second time so they took out the bowel. He won't have a bag but will have to go to the bathroom 4-5 times a day. Silly man is only worried about weather or not he'll be able to make it to the camp without needing to squat in a ditch along the way. Must be where I learned how to pay close attention to the fine details.  ;D  |

HW, the hunt with our club won't be this weekend. I tried to arrange it, but it won't happen. I'll let you know when the next one will be.
