Well I spent today at the AGM. I would like to thank all those who took the time and showed up. Some made the long trip and still managed to get involved in interesting conversation about hunting issues which are sure to be brought up at the Federation in the spring. I would also like to thank Blake (bowhunter) for his informative talk about NS Hunting .com explaining the future path and goals of the site. There were sevaral very insightful discussions during the meeting and I think that all who attended were satisfied with the outcome.

It was a good meeting indeed, althouh it would have been nice to have a larger turnout when trying to decide what direction BANS should take on several issues. BUT, I guess it is like politics - unless you vote, can you really gripe if things aren't the way you like. (That would be in a perfect world, right?)

Most people, as in other things, don't want to get involved in the politics of any organization so it's left to those who want to get involved and in some cases just to those who can make it on that date and to those who bother to show up.
If you're a bowhunter you should join BANS and if you belong to BANS you should be there to support what you believe in. I should talk. It's the first BANS meeting I've been able to attend since I've been a member.
Guess it's too late to post that but maybe next year will be different.
