This Saturday (Jan.14) is the Bass River Bunny hunt.
I'm heading up as long as the weather holds...
Anyone else going???

It was a great day !!
The conditions were near perfect...overcast, and a bit cool if you were just standing around. Once you got into the woods, though, it was just the right temperature, IMHO.
There were 57 hunters, and 5 rabbits were shot by 5 of the different groups.
Our group...me, John Webber, Sheldon Ryan, Sheldon's son Cameron, and John's neighbour John (?...my apologies...I forget John's last name) managed to take one of the 5 we saw. It was the first rabbit I've ever shot with a bow...and with a longbow to boot !! ;D
Because we had the smallest number of actual hunters, we received the plaque.
JW actually saw a coyote, too...but couldn't get a shot.
Yup...always a fun day...and a ton of laughs were had by all.
