Is everyone ready for the 2011 season? I have 4 stands ready for action & can't wait to start baiting.  Looks like it's going to be a great year as lots of bear scat around the blueberry fields. ;D |

I hope to get out this year but I don't think I will have a traditional bait site. In the past I had a site that I baited and watched, this year due to family restrictions I will go to my site, only bait it once or twice and hope to see something. Bears are always active through this area in the spring but I have only seen a little activity in the fall. Is this area only a pass through?

The area where I am is more of a feeding zone with lots of water for them. There are already some pretty good trails the bears are using so I am anticipating a pretty good year this year. This is my first year in the area but he owner of the property tells me lots of bears there that they want dealt with. Good for me, bad for the bears.
