I am a US citizen and I completed the Nova Scotia bowhunting class. Does anyone know if I am allowed to bring my own bow next season in from the US? Are there any declarations required? Thanks

should be no problem. just declare what you bring in and you're ready to go.DO NOT TRY to bring in a hangun, customs has no sense of humour. have a great hunt.

How did you make out getting an outfitter or guide? You can bring in a bow without any problems. A rifle is almost as easy with the proper paperwork. Check out my web site to see just how easy it is under "regulations". Have a safe hunt. Cheers' Rob

Noluck I see you are still "lurking" around. Have a great weekend. How goes the recurve?

I am working nights this weekend so I only hope for a smooth weekend, I doubt it will be good. As for the recurve, well not much has been happening there. I have started to build a bathroom in the basement and most of my hunting/archery gear was in the spot where the construction is going on so I am not even sure where half of it is. Hopefully when that is completed the weather will be a bit warmer and we can all get out to try out shooting. I think I had better start figure out something for the kids to be able to shoot.
