Just wondering how peoples summers are going. It has been wet all summer long here with only a couple of days of sun and those days it got way to hot to be outside doing things. I have gotten only a few practice sessions in and in a matter of a few hundred shots I have pretty much shot out the replacable core in my Glen L buck. It would last longer if I was using field points but I wanted to practice for real situation shots and figured it would be better to use my Thunderheads. I was using 125g (bigger hole) but have decided to go to 100g and turn the lbs up on the compound. Seems to be way more consistent.
I see the BANS bang up is on Saturday, who is planning on making it? I have other plans, so I can't which sucks because this is the first year that I wasn't working on that weekend. Oh well maybe next year. Those who do attend I hope you have fun and good weather!

I won't be at the BANS bang up.
As for the summer, I am in the process of building a new house. Ground has been broken and will be starting the actual house very soon so I haven't been shooting at all. I am planning on buying a new bow in the near future but I have other things to spend money on currently.

Building a house is a bit of an undertaking. Good luck! I went out and shot a few between the rain showers last night. As I stepped off the front step a nice doe walked out between a couple of trees looked at me and stoppped to feed. Good Gravy, 15yrds broadside perfect, now if I could get them to do that this fall, hehe. Funny but I had a tick on me when I came in, I would have figured that by now they would all be done. Oh well that is what happens.
