Bowbuilding - Thanks Sticks for a great day !

The Fraternity or Guild as Sticks called at met at hus shop and had a great night getting some bows started at New Annand nearer completion.

Afteer a sucessful bunny hunt in the afterrnoon, the Brookfield area members hosted 4 eastern shore area guests - and hopefully new members - and one bow shot arrows last night (indoors).

There was the customary initiations, and stories.

Remember, fellow members from the eastern shore - that the Brookfield area members have never told a lie that wasn't true. Especially the older fella's who know the futility of telling how things were done in the past as no one believes them any way. ... lol

I like to thank the Brookfield gang on behalf of the Eastern Shore gang. We had a blast and will be back up in the near future so the rest can finish their bows. I shot mine a few time today. I love it. Thanks to everyone who helped me finish.

Sounds like a great time. Hows does one get involved in such an endevor. Would love to try building a bow.

Although I did not work on a bow last night it was a fun evening ;D. but I had other issues last night.

Big game I'm glad you have had a chance to shoot your bow a little more since last night. I'm really really glad you love it. It's a lot of fun. Thought you didn't have any arrows for that thing yet

Good, another Eastern Shore fella to bring along. Shooter, I'll talk to you at the archery club if you're interested. I'll have to check with Mark, but I am sure we could use another guy hey fellas?
P-S, I am using my aluminums for now. They don't fly perfect, but they'll do fine until I get wood ones. We'll check out the poundage next time I'm up.
