I am making this post on this site on behalf of ST.Mary's Archers, and TAANS. Hope I do not offend anyone involved.
Recently it was made public that the club who usually hosted the TAANS Rendezvous would not be hosting this year. This was a disappointment for all, made even worse by the fact that there appeared to be NO other club willing to offer to host the event. Well, I'm happy to say that the executives of both St Mary's and TAANS have been in discussion over the last week or so and, that TAANS has agreed to allow St Mary's to host this years event. This is good news for both ( I feel) but mostly for the TAANS members who so look forward to this shoot every year.
This shoot is a TRADITIONAL shoot only (NO COMPOUNDS) as it is a TAANS event. Other years the host club would hold a club turkey shoot at the same time allowing compounds. I don't believe this to be the case this year. The shoot date will still be Dec 3 2006.
I would like at this time to thank St Mary's for stepping up to the plate, and also thank TAANS for allowing the shoot to go on. I look forward to seeing all of the club members and the TAANS members who make it out.
Thank you for taking the time to read this
