What is the most important information you as a seasoned hunter could pass along to young hunter?

Don't take hunting so serious and have fun doing it! Have respect for every animal and follow up every shot.

WELL ... seasoned hunter does not apply to me at all, more like perpetual greenhorn. But the advice I give applies to every facet of life, THINK SAFETY FIRST. That way you will more likely live to tell folks about the one that got away.

I would have to agree with respecting nature. Teach them to take it all in and enjoy it. Just because you may not see what your looking for today does not mean that you will not see and learn something.

I was approached by a young fellow this week about making him some arrows. He's 14 and has picked up a second hand bow, and was shoot aluminums off it but beat them all to heck. Took him down to Phil's shop last night just so he could see what is out there and figure out what he might need. I have his sticks almost finished. Says he wants to take his bowhunter course this year, figure that I'll help him in anyway I can. Be nice to help a young fellow get into bowhunting.

Well I finished the young fellows arrows and HW has made a new string for both him and his little brothers bows. Now I 'm going to make a couple arrows for the younger boy. They are both so gun ho about shootin bows. I had some old sticks here that somebody had give to me, I retipped them and give them to the boys fro stump shooting. The older boy got a bit of a surprise the other day when I sent him a picture of his arrows. I made them way fancier than he extected and gave him 2 extra arrows all for one low low price. . He was happy and I was happy to see him happy. Here what the 8 ash arrows I made him ended up looking like.
