Shot with Huntwisely , Shelhebeen and Camron today . It was indeed a pleasure and very enjoyable. I had to bail out at lunchtime , not feeling the best . HW shot a great round this morning and his selfbow is impressive to say the least. John you should have no problem getting a deer if the opportunity arises. Good shooting fellahs sorry I had to cave in but after a couple of hotdogs I felt lousy. See you soon. Ironfist.

SOrry to hear that the hot dogs did it,and all the time the boy's thought that you couldn't handle the pressure of being out shot by Camron. Sheldon your son is going to be one heck of a shooter and for a boy his age he is remarkably focused its not easy for a young lad that age to stay on track . I have seen kids twice his age get distracted. But he was as good as gold. I hope he won a prize. John.

Ironfist thanks Cam was quite wipped out by afternoon. fell asleep about 10 minutes after we left to come home. Ya, he took 1st in the future bowhunter class,he was very happy. I couldn't find the pollite way to explain that he was 1st in a group of 1. He got his prise and told me we could share it,or at least I could look at it if I wanted to.LOL

But as I have alway said - I won because I was there - It was good to see old friends, chat, carry on, shoot and laugh.

Camron, at the age of 6 feels the need to win prizes, etc. At 50+, I have a different attitude. (Would be nice to get a doe tag though). I have applied every year, gotten it once and shot a buck that year. Do I really care, nope = it's the hunt I enjoy, some of the best season I have had have been without a kill. Lots of VERY close does and no tag.

remember guys when the deer, bear or moose drops the fun stops and the work starts - but it is all worth it.
