Which are the best type of tips for bunnies? The spring type or rubber? Would setting my pins @ 5/10/15 yrds be best? Got some bunnies around the house here, and thinking of giving them a try. KPR

I think it's all a matter of what you like. The judo(spring type) so I hear work well as do the rubber blunts. I have steel blunts and game getter points I use

Picked up some Judo "Shockers" went for a little wheeler tour out to a cabin not far from the house here on the mountain and the place has more tracks than I've ever seen here before, as well a lot of coyote and cat tracks.
Something interesting, DNR has a dumping pit not far from here for roadkill and such, last year they dug a new one and filled the old one over. The new one filled with water, the old one tonight was absolutely covered in bird tracks...I mean covered, like a 30ft square of tracks. (Probably crows/ravens) Now this is covered with about 8ft of dirt and over the back of it I could see a carcass dug out and alot of new dirt thrown about.
Plan on walkin back there tommorrow and I'll take the camera with. At two minds here, want fresh snow for hunting and none for pictures...lol
Went down on the valley floor to pick up my second treestand...not a track, no rabbits, no deer, coyotes nothing.

KPR - I use steel blunts and rubber on some of my sons on harwood shafts and trad gear - sorry can't help ya with the pin question.
Now check that dump often - any fresh deer, cut out the tendon in the back leg - (the one you put a ganbreil stick in to hangit from. shin if off an put it somewhere to air dry. Now you have sinew to back bows, etc. It takes about 6 or eight to back a bow.

Now these carcasses, about 20, are spread all over the place by coyotes, cats and crows. What a baitpile, HMMMMMMMMMMM. Any idea as to what they are? Webbed feet, quite a rack of teeth, long tail, leads me to believe otter maybe. One of the pics you can see my size ten, they are about two feet long, maybe better, wasn't in to it enough to straighten em'. Bunnies 1---KPR 0 Not much for new tracks, got really mild here lastnight, little rain this morning. Nice walk though. KPR
