This poor piece of osage has been taunting me. I can't take the heat much longer, so it is going to get a good scraping. As much as my time will permit, and my nerves.
I have one end down to the first ring of heart wood. Now I will chase this ring from one end to the other. I want one continuous growth ring for the back of the bow. You can see the yellow at the far end of the stave.
