Roger your starting to make my eyes water, 8 point, coyote, and a bear in your avatar. I've seen on your site that you have some good recipes for cooking things, any good ones for deer track soup. LOL Congrats Sheldon

Good day gents, I was prompted to go on a little mission recently to research differant organizations with relation to my new found passion for bowhunting. In the course of this research I read what each had done to benifit this. I am impressed by what B.A.N.S has done in the past, so much so that today I mailed off my registration fees. ;D I hope B.A.N.S future endeavors will have as pleasing results. It is not my intention to "get in peoples faces" or "challenge" although my nature sometimes gives this impression because most time if something is to be said. I'll say it. If I offend you or insult you please speak up either privately or publicly matters not, I will correct it.

Welcome aboard Litekpr. Wish you could get to Sticks some time for a shop night, meet Pirate from the NSH site, Woodlanddrifter, Squirrel, BEA and others that go back a long way in BANS - in some cases 25 years. The stories they tell of the uphill battle for bow hunters and bear hunters to have the seasons, etc they have now.

I believe it must be quite a battle...ongoing, I work for the Feds and have had dealings with Prov. Can only imagine the tape and hassle/frustration. Just to let you know. I appreciate all that has been done. Some nieghbours have tried their hand at making bows, looks interesting, also puts a question to mind. I will look for the proper spot for it.

Welcome aboard litrkpr! I myself only joined BANS last year, but after attending this years meeting i'm glad I did. We discussed a number of important issues that will affect us all as bowhunters. Judging by the turnout at the meeting however we could use some more active members to help fight our battles.
