Who is going to the St. Mary's shoot this weekend? How much is it to shoot? Can we shoot just one day? And what time does the shoot start? I am going to try to make it to my first 3D shoot. I have my fingers crossed.

BG , I'm not 100% about going both days, but yes you can shoot just one day if you want. Saturday is a shoot to raise funds for the federation, it's a fun day.
Sunday is a regular shoot day.
Both days will be 2 rounds of 20 targets I beleive. the fee is $15.00 per day, or a discounted price of $25 for both I think is how it works.

I believe the shoots start at 9ish each day. Hw should be able to fill you in a little more on this stuff. I haven't figured out my schedule as of yet. I have some family stuff going on( not good) that keeping me from making any definite plans as of lately. This being said, do you have a day in mind? I know that my kids want to go shot one if not both days and I might just end up going both regardless.
That reminds me I have to see if Phil is going to be up this weekend.

Reg. starts at 8:00AM, shooting starts at 9:00am. Lunch will be available. Saturday April 8, St Mary's is hosting a 3D shoot. This shoot is a fund raiser for the federation of Angler's and Hunters. It will be 2 X 20 targets. The trail is wet in places, but better than last year. Bring boots and have fun.
Sunday April 9, There is a 3D shoot, of 2 X 20 targets. Again, the course has some wet spots, so dress accordingly.
The course has been modified some again this year due to wind damage. There are good shots for all.

Why is there an hour between registration and start time?

An hour between reg. and start time? Actually there is no time between. Because once reg. is over then shooting starts. It is not possible for everyone to reg. at the same time and people don't always show up at the same. If you are reg. at 8:00 then you can shoot at the practice butts til 9:00. hope this helps

Today's shoot at St. M's went well. The shooting wasn't to wet with the rain, not enough to dampen anyone's fun. The chili that was so graciously provided by Mrs. HW, was better than what I made for the shoots last year. You'll want to book a bowl early tomorrow, because I don't think there will be enough for everyone. There are plenty of Hdogs though so nobody is going to be hungry in the afternoon. Hungry for the second round of targets of course. A good number of the shooters from today said they would be back again tomorrow. So with sunny breaks in the weather it is looking like we will be having a good round of 3-D tomorrow.
